Seaview, Laugharne is former home of the poet Dylan Thomas and located in the heart of the historic township of Laugharne. Seaview will allow you to be captivated by the magic of its charm and its unique location every bedroom is fitted to the highest standard and luxury, all rooms are en-suite and all rooms have dominant sea views. A Haven of Peace in the Countryside, Talfan Farm is situated in 90 acres of farmland on the edge of the village of Llanddowror near St Clears. The house is of Neo-Georgian design and each room is very comfortably appointed, with private facilities (shower/WC or bath/WC), flat-screen digital TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Fluffy white towels and bathrobes, ample toiletries (even a shaving kit if you forget yours!) are provided for your convenience. We offer a full, hearty and healthy Welsh breakfast using local produce - Welsh Eggs, butter, milk, - even laver bread if you want! We can, however, cater for all dietary requirements including gluten-free dishes. You will experience our Welsh Welcome on arrival - tasting our traditional Welsh cake of the day - which could be Bara Brith, Teisen Lap or our famous Welsh Cakes themselves! The Gwenllian Court was built in the 19th century as a gentlemans country residence, for the owner of Kidwelly Tinplate Works. These Works have recently been restored and are now a fascinating Industrial Museum located close to the hotel. In its original guise as a Victorian country mansion it was situated in fine grounds which became a favourite haunt of local Victorian society and played host to many elegant occasions. The hotels present title reflects its roots in local history by taking its name from Princess Gwenllian, a local heroine, whose bravery has passed into Welsh legend. Today the hotel, although having undergone extensive changes, still retains an inimitable style that can only come from such a distinct heritage. The bedrooms are all individual in their decoration, which have been chosen to enhance the unique atmosphere of this hotel. Longshore house is an exclusive holiday rental property accredited with 5 stars by ‘Visit Wales’, formally the Welsh Tourist board.
