The Maypole Inn is a lovely, 1600’s Dales Country Inn with cosy en-suite rooms, open log fires, and lots of character. Linton Laithe Bed and Breakfast is part of Grange Farm in the centre of Linton - in - Craven, which is the home of Jonny, Shirley and Pat Metcalfe and their family. The family has farmed at Linton since 1932, Grange Farm is a working farm of dairy cattle and sheep. The name ‘Laithe’ comes from antiquity meaning barn. The picture on the right is of one of the family helping to deliver milk by horse and cart. Linton is near Grassington, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and famous for its Music Festivals and Dickensian Christmas Markets and yet only eight miles from Skipton. It is one of the most unspoiled picture postcard villages in Wharfedale. Away from busy tourist spots, it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy walking, the water falls and the beautiful countryside that surrounds Linton Laithe. Nestling under Kilnsey Crag in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales approximately 12 miles from Skipton, the Tennant Arms was built in the 17th century as a coaching inn for travelers passing through Wharfedale. It is ideally suited for walking and touring and is in easy reach of the market town of Skipton and spa towns of Harrogate and Ripon or for visiting Bolton Abbey and numerous other attractions. At the Tennant Arms you will be assured of a warm welcome, a fantastic location, great food and a high standard of accommodation.

Tudor House dates from 1849. It was built as Bell Busk Station, to service the village of Malham, by the North Western Railway Company (a.k.a. “Little North Western”), which was soon to be amalgamated with The Midland Railway. The line was originally the Leeds to Morecambe route, but by 1876 the now famous Settle to Carlisle line was completed and became part of the main west coast route between London & Scotland. The station was closed on 4th May 1959. The property first became a B&B/Guesthouse during the 1970’s, and nowadays offers a unique experience combining comfort, hospitality and a fascinating piece of local history. We will endeavour to build on the reputation developed by previous owners and expand and extend the range and level of experiences our guests can enjoy. Apart from the bedrooms we have a comfortable dining area and a relaxing sunroom overlooking the railway line. The unique residents lounge, fashioned from the original station Waiting Room, has a TV, radio/CD/MP3 and warming log-burning stove to ensure a cosy atmosphere. Over an acre or well-kept gardens is the ideal environment for a relaxed day reading a book or chilling out after a hard days walking, sightseeing, cycling, pony trekking, shopping, bird watching or any of the other great variety of things to do locally.

Our family home is in a quiet location in the busy village of Grassington, but is just two minutes walk from the village square. There are two rooms available one twin bedded and one double; both rooms are ensuite, and have colour television and tea/coffee making facilities etc. There is also a guest sitting room and dining room wihich can be used at anytime. A Full English breakfast is served from 7.30am.

Originally built as a club for gentlemen mill owners, The Fell Hotel (as it was known) has long served local people and visitors to the Yorkshire Dales. Welcome to Stone Head House nr. Lothersdale and Cowling in North Yorkshire. Built in 1596 just off the Pennine Way, this beautiful Manor House later served as a working farm, and now provides accommodation as a guest house in the small valley of Stone Head near Lothersdale and Cowling. Stone Head House is one of only a handful of properties in the hidden valley of Stone Head Nr. Lothersdale and Cowling, all of similar age. Every effort has been made by the owner to restore Stone Head House in an appropriate way. We have chosen to not put televisions in the rooms to keep a sense of getting away from it all. The whole of the downstairs has Flagged floors. Breakfast is cooked on the Aga in the quaint farmhouse kitchen then served in the dining hall with its enormous inglenook fireplace, a feature which Stone Head House is well known in the area around Lothersdale. Due to the fact that we are on pumped springwater there can be some noise heard from the pumps whilst in the bedrooms but these are turned off at 21:00 and not turned on until an hour before first breakfast ensuring a good nights sleep in this quirky, quaint old dwelling. This only affects the powershowers but nothing else. We feel we offer an excellent luxury b&b service at very reasonable rates. Stone Head House provides great Bed and Breakfast accommodation for walking holidays on the Pennine Way section, between Lothersdale and Cowling.
