A family run hotel, currently in it’s third generation. Having just past its centenary year, our beautiful Edwardian hotel was constructed in the Arts and Crafts period. The building is set in its own mature, well maintained gardens, only five minutes walk away from Buxton centre, with its many attractions including the Opera House and the Pavilion Gardens. The hotel provides and excellent base to explore the Peak District and local area, or as a place to escape and relax. Our cosy bar lounges are ideal to sit back in and watch the world go by. Hawthorn farm is a family run 16 century grade 2 listed house built around 1580, the house still contains original oak beams, stone flag floors and period fire places. the house and stable block were converted in to guest accommodation over 50 years ago. We have two rooms within the main house and the remaining rooms are in the converted cow sheds. All the rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee making facities, hair dryer, radio alarm clock and colour tv. There is also a two room suite with seperate shower room and toilet ideal for a family or a small group. It consists of one twin room and a double room with an extra single bed. This is our first year in Buxton and we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service that we can. We have recently arranged full use of a local leisure complex with indoor pool, fully equipped gym, suana, steam room, free weights and beatuy salon. pool and gym use for only £5 per person per day and upto 25% off all day spar treatments. please ring for full details, brouchers will be available in all rooms. chilren are most welcome in the pool. The Samuel Fox Country Inn is situated in the pretty village of Bradwell and offers breathtaking views from the bar and restaurant. The building underwent a full refurbishment in July 2008 and is modern and stylish while still managaing to retain its rustic charm. All of our rooms are delux double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, they have at least 26 inch flat screen televisions,internet access and coffee and tea facilities. We have an excellent head chef who uses good locally sourced, seasonal ingrediants creating excellent and yet very affordable food and we are very proud to have been recently awarded an AA rosette for fine food. The Westminster is a small,family run hotel which enjoys an enviable position overlooking the Pavilion Gardens.Your host Shelley aims to give her guests great food and good hospitality. There are 12 double bedrooms, all have the option of being single or double and an extra bed can be arranged on request. The Monsal Head Hotel is situated overlooking the beautiful Monsal Dale in the centre of the Peak District National Park. It is three miles from the market town of Bakewll, with Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall a ten minute drive.
