Hidden and unspoilt, Whitnage, near Tiverton in Devon, is a quiet rural hamlet with panoramic views of the Culm Valley and the picturesque Blackdown Hills. Bampton is set in the foothills of Exmoor National Park and is 10 minutes from Dulverton, 30 from both North and South Devon beaches and is an ideal base for walking, cycling (Southwest Route No. 3 goes past the front door), riding, shooting, fishing, wind surfing, surfing, sailing and bird watching. Set yourself up for the day with one of Fionas scrumptious breakfasts using fresh local produce cooked on the Aga and served in the dining room.
