Andy and Liz have some 25 years experience in the pub trade and between them have interests in food, gardening, fishing, rugby and classic cars, when they get a break from their main hobby of steadily improving the inns amenities and decor. "We aim to provide good quality service in a relaxed atmosphere". Andy is in charge of the kitchen which serves food throughout the day and is based around an excellent Carvery along with an extensive menu that includes bar snacks, daily specials and vegetarian options. We stock a wide selection of brand name drinks, local beers, wines by the bottle and the glass, and plenty of soft drinks for those on the move, so there really is something for everyone. This is a lively Dorset pub, popular with local people, and has its own darts team, pool table, a very popular Sunday night Quiz and occasional music events. Find out whats going on over the next few weeks. The Coach and Horses is child-friendly with a secure play area for small children to the rear of the pub, a patio area, garden and aviary. The inn is also disabled-friendly, with good access and toilets, although the guest bedrooms are not yet suitable for the disabled, all being on the first floor.
