Kerr Cottage is a delightful typically Scottish detached property situated on the edge of the granite town of Dalbeattie. Although it was built 165 years ago, it has been lovingly brought into the 21st century with all 3 guest bedrooms having quality fixtures and fittings together with modern ensuite facilities. The ground floor bedroom and bathroom is suitable for those with mobility problems and is fully wheelchair accessible. The cosy guest lounge is available at all times and equipped with satellite TV, including sports channels, DVDs, books and board games. A full Scottish or Continental breakfast is served in the bright conservatory where the views of the Galloway hills ensure you start each day feeling relaxed and on top of the world. Evening meals are freshly prepared using the best local ingredients. There is lockable storage for bikes / golf clubs and a drying room for outdoor clothing with battery charging facilities for your electric golf trolleys. Sorry, but we are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age or guests wishing to bring their pets.

Previously known as The Commercial and the Galloway Arms the Pheasant Hotel now offers excellent accomodation for visitors to the Dalbeattie area looking for a practical and comfortable base from which to explore the local area. Recently refurbished, we have eight rooms in total, comprising three rooms with a double bed and a single bed, a single bedroom, a double bedroom, two further twin-bedded rooms, and a family room consisting of one double bed, a two bed bunk, and a setee that opens up to a double bed. All rooms are en suite, seven of the rooms have bath and shower and one of the twin bedded room has a shower.
