The Gillingham Swan is a morden village inn situated in the Waveney Valley close to beccles and with inn the Broads National Park. Coveniently situated for easy access to Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Southwold. We offer mordern facilites and comfort within a genuine raral atmosphere. Our Bar facilities are open seven days a week and the restaurant is open for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner everyday except Sunday evening. Our 14 bedrooms are all grround floor and situated within and around the walled garden. A traditional, family run, country pub selling Adnams ales and great food. Our accommodation is separate from the Inn and is located in a barn style building only built in October 2004. The rooms, all en-suite with a shower and bath, benefit from being very spacious and are modern with a country twist. We are situated in rural Suffolk on the doorstep of Minsmere bird reserve and a short distance from both Aldeburgh and Southwold. There are many cycle routes and great walks from Eastbridge, including one of the 20 Great Britsh walks as advertised in The Times18th April 2009. We are very well known for our music especially our Thursday Squit nights and traditional folk on the last Sunday in every month.

Quite simply a hidden gem tucked away in the glorious Suffolk countryside. This grade II listed inn possesses many wonderful features including a timber frame dating to 1580. The White Horse is ideally positioned just 5 minutes from the A12 and 15 minutes from the coast. RSPB Minsmere is 15 minutes away, whilst the small market towns of Framlingham, Halesworth and Saxmundham are closer. Shooting, fishing and golf are all close by whilst the area is favourable for walking. However you spend your day return to rest in one of our 7 comfortable rooms. Accredited 4 stars by Visit Britain, the rooms are suitably detached from the pub in their own self contained building, located in the adjacent gardens with plentiful parking. Most rooms have open countryside views offering peace and quiet for a good nights sleep. No stay away from home is complete without good food and drink. Guests enjoy an extensive breakfast menu all freshly cooked to order. Dinner can be popular so guests are advised to book their tables when making their room reservation.
