For the more energetic we have the Mountain biking trails Mach 1, 2, 3 or cli-machx, and Walking Cader Idris and the Plynlumun ranges. For those of you with an green agenda The world renown Centre of Alternative Technology is 15min away by car a little longer if you cycle there!. For children we have King Arthur’s Labyrinth, the beach and Animalarium to name a few.

The hotel is situated at the foot of the Dolgoch Ravine and Waterfalls and just a short drive from the foot of the beautiful Cadair Idris, with Snowdon and the heart of Snowdonia being within easy reach. The Talyllyn narrow guage steam railway has a station just behind the Hotel. The Hotel is family run and dates back in parts to the 13th century. We also have a well stocked bar for relaxing.
