Situated smack in the middle of World Heritage Town of Conwy with part of the hotel dating back to the 1600s. At the turn of the 19th Century the hotel had an attractive face lift of local granite and Ruabon brick and is now one of Conwys most photographed buildings. In the last 4 years, the hotel has had a major upgrade to its 28 bedrooms and suites, including the Wynn Suite with a very grand, ornately carved four poster bed dated 1570 and Caer Rhun Suite, complete with 2 person jacuzzi bath! The hotel serves local food in newly designed Dawson brasserie and bar. In winter months Conwy mussels are fantastic and the Welsh beef and lamb are sourced from farms locally. Reservations are essential on busy nights, especially Saturdays.

The Lilly Restaurant with rooms is in the perfect location right on the sea front of the West Shore. We have a fine dining restaurant for that memorable dining experience, with an excellent team of award winning chefs - including the Juinor Chef of Wales finalist who was awarded silver in the 08/09 competition, and the previous Head Chef of Rutin Castle who was recently awarded 2 AA Rosettes. Also no meal is complete without our selection of finest wines & Champagnes, includinfg Crystal. If its a more relaxed atmosphere you are looking for we have our MadHatters Brassiere - taken fron the Lewis Carrol story of Alice In Wonderland, which was written here on the West Shore.
