Bodnant Guest House is a beautiful, 4 star, family-run, non-smoking guest house. An original Victorian building boasting many original features situated on the level in a wide, peaceful, tree-lined road within a two minute walk of beach. Situated smack in the middle of World Heritage Town of Conwy with part of the hotel dating back to the 1600s. At the turn of the 19th Century the hotel had an attractive face lift of local granite and Ruabon brick and is now one of Conwys most photographed buildings. In the last 4 years, the hotel has had a major upgrade to its 28 bedrooms and suites, including the Wynn Suite with a very grand, ornately carved four poster bed dated 1570 and Caer Rhun Suite, complete with 2 person jacuzzi bath! The hotel serves local food in newly designed Dawson brasserie and bar. In winter months Conwy mussels are fantastic and the Welsh beef and lamb are sourced from farms locally. Reservations are essential on busy nights, especially Saturdays.

The area is ideal for walking, cycling, golfing, short breaks and family holidays. We are ideally situated for touring North Wales, with easy access to the A55 Expressway and the beautiful surrounding areas such as: Bodnant Gardens, Conwy Castle, The Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed, Portmeirion Village and gardens (as featured in TVs The Prisoner) or the Snowdonia National Park. The house retains many of its original features, antiques, beams and open inglenook fireplaces. This is a peaceful spot, but the medieval walled town of Conwy, with Edward 1st, 13th Century castle plus many shops, bars and restaurants is 3 miles and Llandudno with more shops, bars and restaurants less than 10 minutes drive away. The award winning village of Rowen is 1 mile or 15 minute easy walk where you will find quaint cottages, beautiful gardens, a post office and a great village pub which hosts its famous Welsh singing every Friday night. You may also order your favorite daily newspaper. We operate a no-smoking policy throughout the building . We offer the free loan of iron and ironing board (for your own use !) and there is a comfortable television lounge .
