Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Snowdonia National Park serves up breathtaking views and big breakfasts in style. The former Victorian slate cutting mill has been fully refurbished with furniture custom made by local crafts makers, modern design classics and traditional Welsh materials. Our dining area and best bedrooms overlook the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and mountains: watch the tide come in over breakfast, see the sun set over a drink on the terrace. Explore Graig Wens 45 acres of wild woods and meadows leading down to the Mawddach Trail from Barmouth to Dolgellau or follow footpaths into the hills. Our breakfasts range from a full Welsh cooked breakfast of locally cured bacon and free range eggs and sausage from the neighbouring farm to a continental with fresh fruit, Welsh cheese, croissant and home made granola. We are licensed to serve alcohol and simple evening snacks can be provided by arrangement. There are good local restuarants and pubs to eat out with 5 minutes drive in Dolgellau and Fairbourne. Other attractions with easy reach include Blue flag sandy beaches, mountain biking and Go Ape hire wire adventure at Coed y Brenin, Harlech Castle, Centre for Alterntive Technology and Portmeirion. Children over 10 welcome. Our own dogs are happy to welcome well behaved dogs too. We have a standard ground floor room with en suite wet room which is accessible for ambulant disabled people - please ask for availability.

The Minffordd Hotel in Talyllyn valley, Mid Wales is set in probably the most breathtaking scenery in Britain and is situated at the base of the Cader Idris with the summit being 1 1/2 miles NW of the hotel. The original parts of the building are over 400 years old so as you might expect the walls are very thick and there are plenty of originally features such as the original wood beams which can be seen throughout the building and our log fire which is a key feature during the winter months. We have 2 lounges available for guest to relax in at any time of the day maybe after dinner with a glass or two of your favourite drink from our extensively well stocked bar. Our restaurant seats a maximum of twenty people for dinner therefore reservations are essential to guarantee you a table especially at weekends. Breakfast is also served here with a selection of fresh fruit, cereals & fruit juices, full breakfasts are cooked freshly to order. .......................... We are ideally situated at the base of CADER IDRIS Mountain here in southern SNOWDONIA, and a vast majority of guests are walkers & stay with us due to our location & easy access to the MINFFORDD PATH which is 5 minutes from our front door............................ We are also on the "mach loop" which is famous with plane spotters & photographers who also stay with us to view the low flying RAF aircraft that can be seen most days flying down the valley.................... Due to our scenic mountain location we are also favourite with landscapes & wildlife photographers who visit us to enjoy the fabulous scenery & wildlife. There are various golf courses ( Aberdovey, Harlech, Dolgellau, Machynlleth ) locally and fishing (coarse, game & sea) is also widely available locally........................ Richmond House is a large Victorian town house tastefully converted into Bed and Breakfast accommodation, having 3 large double bedrooms with en-suites (Snowdon, Bala & Bardsey), a large comfortable lounge and dining room for guests.Richmond House B&B is situated in the centre of Barmouth with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Cardigan Bay sunsets, only a 2 minute walk from the large, blue flag, Barmouth beach, several excellent restaurants and pubs, and the railway station.Barmouth is on the Western edge of the Snowdonia National Park, with walking, mountain biking and a range of other activities available nearby. Ty Seren (in English Star House) is a 209 year old former woolen mill located in the centre of the lovely market town of Dolgellau, Gwynedd. If you like peace and tranquility in an affordable family-run Bed and Breakfast then this is the place for you. The accommodation - all on the first floor - comprises 3 individually decorated en-suite rooms with tea trays and televisions; a family room sleeping up to four, a double room and a single room. We can especially cater for groups of up to 6 Mountain Bikers coming to the nearby Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre, as we have excellent storage in our large cellar and washing facilities for muddy bikes and clothes. The house has many character features, such as slate flagstones, oak staircase, large inglenook fireplace and oak beams, and also has the very unusual feature of an exterior stone staircase winding round the back of the building. Ty Seren lies just off of the main square of Dolgellau, a minutes walk from the nearest pub/restaurant and also 2 minutes walk from Ty Siamas, the new National Folk Music Centre of Wales. The house itself has a checkered history, at one time being a pub called The Star (Seren is Welsh for Star), at another housing three evacuated families on the open plan weaving floor up-stairs, we also have one of the earliest flat roof shop extensions in the area, circa.1860!

Coed Cae is a traditional stone cottage set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park. Situated in its own wooded garden on the Mawddach estuary with spectacular views. The house is only a ten minute walk to the George III pub at Penmaenpool and a short drive to the nearby pretty town of Dolgellau. We can provide you with packed-lunches and evening meals in addition to Bed and Breakfast, and being keen outdoors enthusiasts ourselves, we can give you pointers on walks and mountain bike tours in the area. Alternatively, if you are in need of a less active time, light the fire, open a book and just enjoy relaxing at Coed Cae.

Dolgoch Falls Hotel is unique in its position, being located at the south western corner of Wales Snowdonia National Park just 5 miles from the beautiful West Wales coastline. Both Tywyn and Machynlleth are close by, with the picturesque village of Aberdyfi just 6 miles away. The hotel is situated at the foot of the Dolgoch Ravine and Waterfalls and just a short drive from the foot of the beautiful Cadair Idris, with Snowdon and the heart of Snowdonia being within easy reach. The Talyllyn narrow guage steam railway has a station just behind the Hotel. The Hotel is family run and dates back in parts to the 13th century. We also have a well stocked bar for relaxing. This tranquil location is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets.
