Invercloy has 5 bedrooms including 2 twins, 2 doubles and 1 single room. Three of the west facing bedrooms have spectacular and uninterrupted views over Oban bay to Mull, Lismore and beyond.You can see the views from our photos. The 2 east facing bedrooms overlook the garden. We have a mixture of private and shared facilities.We are situated on the hill above the distillery. The bedrooms are decorated in neutral tones and all have goose feather duvets, plump pillows and crisp white cotton sheets and pillowcases. Blankets are also available. The generous hospitality tray is well stocked with fair trade products.All rooms have televisions with remote controls, hairdryers, clock radio alarms and shaver points.Our rooms are spotlessly clean and guests ofen comment on this. The elevated terrace at Invercloy has wooden furniture where guests are very welcome to use for a eating and to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set.We are a completely non-smoking establishment except on the terrace. There is parking on the street at the front and back of the house with no restrictions. Invercloy is a family business and you will be assured of a warm welcome.We are happy to help with any requirements you may have, e.g planning a trip or booking a restaurant. Please note that as the hotel has a pets welcome policy it may not be suitable for people with pet allergies. There is a central feature staircase in the hotel (and no lift), however the lowest bedrooms are on the second floor. As a small family run hotel we hope that your stay with us will feel more like a home from home rather than just a hotel as it has been our home for 29 years. Set in its own three-quarter acre river-side ground.We are ideally situated to provide a base for your adventures in this area of the West Highlands of Scotland. It is 12 miles east of Oban ‘Gateway to the Isles’ a ferry ride to one of the islands is a great day out. Our spacious bedrooms offer superking/twin beds with mountain and forest views making it easy to unwind and relax. Other facilities include comfortable armchairs, tea and coffee making; satellite TV with DVD player (DVD’s available to borrow), WI-FI facilities and under floor heating throughout. The walkout deck gives easy access to the garden and riverside. You are welcome to explore and sit by our riverside cabin enjoying the pure Argyll air, relaxing with a drink from the cabin on a sunny day. If you are lucky you may spot buzzards, herons, red and roe deer, red squirrels and occasionally be visited by the UK’s rarest mammal a pine martin. The riverside is also a haven for wild flowers especially in spring.
