One of the huge attractions of the apartments is the on site swimming pool, sauna and small gym which is free and for the exclusive use of residents. This is a perfect way to relax after a hard days shopping or sight seeing or the morning after a good night out! Another great attraction is the very secure private parking which can be pre-booked for a small fee. All linen and towels is provided if requested for a small charge of £4.00pp or you can bring your own. Also we are happy to stock the fridge for you if you let us know what you would like although there are numerous supermarkets a 2 minute walk away. NBs is a lovely warm and friendly guest house in the merchiston area of edinburgh. It is about 1 mile south of Princes Street and takes just 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre or catch a bus right outside and be there in 5 minutes. Buses run every 5 minutes most days and night buses run too so saving a fortune on expensive taxis. We can offer lots of sight seeing advice and organise sight seeing tours all over scotland. The tour company we recommend are not only one of the cheapest in town, but they also come and collect you in the morning and bring you home again! At Nbs we aim to ensure you have the most relaxing and pleasurable break possible. You will find your room immaculately clean, always warm and lovely gold and red furnishings and decor. Plus black out roman blinds and very good quality beds ensure a most deep and relaxing sleep. There is wifi available in most rooms. All the team who work at Nbs try really hard to make your stay as stress free and happy as possible. Parking must be pre booked and is £5 or £10.00 a day, season dependant. Sadly we cant guarentee spaces but usually it is fine. We are totally non smoking. We accept most card types and there is no charge for debit cards but is a 2.5% charge on credit cards. There are lovely country parks around dalkeith including Vogrie and Dalkeith country park both have cafes which are open part of the year and we are a short drive from the east lothian coast with its interesting beaches and villages. We are also a short drive from the malt whiskey distillery Glenkinchie. The room rate dose not include breakfast.
