The Royal Hotel, is a charming and spacious Georgian building, opened as the first hotel in Weston-super-Mare in 1810. Situated in the heart of Weston, The Royal Hotel is set in its own extensive lawns which extend to the promenade offering views across the bay, towards the Somerset hills and the Welsh coast. in Weston all their lives and have always had an affection for this splendid elegant building. Hollybank is a beautiful Georgian building set in private gardens dating back to 1850, originally built as a country residence for one of Bristols most successful Silk Merchants. Over the years the house has been used for a variety of purposes including a Music School. This year, celebrating 25 years of welcoming people to our home on the Somerset Levels. Comfortable, farmhouse en-suite rooms continue to be available as described. Hedwig, our barn owl , successfully reared two owlets in the farmhouse chimney. Guests had the pleasure of watching her going back and forth in the evenings with “dinner” and watching the young on TV. Fishing commenced mid June with plenty of healthy activity still expected in the river until mid March. Starling roosts are just beginning, small flocks have already been seen.
