The Masons Arms is a delightful thatched pub in a traditional and peaceful hamstone village. It is a very friendly area with many National Trust properties nearby and other areas of natural beauty. It is an ideal base for walking, and the proximity of Yeovil means it has good road and public transport links close by and is ideally located for business trips. We use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible for our meals which are prepared on the premises, and we even have our own micro brewery! Shave Farm is an early 19th centuary farmhouse set within beautiful countryside and just 2 minutes from the A303.15 minutes from the M5 and Taunton and 30 minutes from the jurrasic coast of Lyme Regis and Charmouth. Making Shave Farm an ideal base or stopover when heading further south. We are a working farm and invite our guests to observe milkings and even help in feeding calves. Our two rooms are made up with crisp white cotton linen, have tea and coffee making facilities and their own tv. Guests have sole use of the large lounge with open fire and can relax in the mature garden or enjoy a soak in the hot tub.
