The Masons Arms is a delightful thatched pub in a traditional and peaceful hamstone village. It is a very friendly area with many National Trust properties nearby and other areas of natural beauty. It is an ideal base for walking, and the proximity of Yeovil means it has good road and public transport links close by and is ideally located for business trips. We use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible for our meals which are prepared on the premises, and we even have our own micro brewery! The Bear Inn is a traditional pub in the small town of Street in Somerset. The inn boasts a spacious interior filled with cosy corners and a large garden and terrace to enjoy in the summer months. Food is served all day and our traditional menu and daily food offers mean you can be assured of great quality and value at every visit. Street was a small farming community until the mid 19th century when Cyrus Clark set up his shoe factory and built housing and leisure facilities to provide for his workers. Now, the manufacturing arm has moved abroad and the old workshops have been turned into a retail village offering designer and high street clothes at outlet prices. The town is located in a rural area, less than 2 miles from Glastonbury and only 10 minutes from the M5. Our accommodation consists of 24 comfortable and spacious rooms situated either above the pub or in our neighbouring cottages. We are located a minute’s walk from the retail village at the edge of the town.

The Restaurant occupies a major part of the original Principle building dating back to the 17th century. Both the bar & restaurant have been refurbished, and although the design is stylish and contemporary, the building retains all its period features. Where possible, locally produced foods are used in all of our dishes. Diners can choose from a varied range of English / French style cuisine, which is complemented by a list of fifty carefully selected wines. The Bar and Terrace. 400 years after it was built, the walk-in fire place remains in it’s original condition and main focus of the bar. Situated in the centre of Bridgwater, the Old Vicarage offers guests all of the charm and atmosphere of a property with a 650 year history, but with the majority of facilities and services youd expect in a large hotel. All of our 15 guest bedrooms are en-suite, non-smoking and many also have original features and furniture. Guests can park in our off-road car park and relax in our tranquil walled garden. An evening meal service is open for guests Monday to Saturday until 9pm. Our bar is also available until the close of our meal service (approx 10pm).

Shave Farm is an early 19th centuary farmhouse set within beautiful countryside and just 2 minutes from the A303. 15 minutes from the M5 and Taunton and 30 minutes from the jurrasic coast of Lyme Regis and Charmouth. Making Shave Farm an ideal base or stopover when heading futher South. We are a working dairy farm and invite our guests to observe milkings and even help feed calves. Our three rooms are made up with crisp white cotton linen and large white fluffy towels, They have tea and coffee making facilities and their own TV. Guests have sole use of the large lounge with open fire and can relax in the mature gardens. Breakfast consists of a full English using only British meats ,local produce and our own eggs!.

Built in the 1400s The George and Pilgrim is the oldest purpose built public house in the South West of England and is steeped with history. Following a recent refurbishment there is a choice of very special en suite bedrooms, some with magnificently draped four poster beds for that special occasion. Enjoy a leisurely aperitif or traditional ale in The Pilgrim’s bar with its old charm and character , it’s the perfect spot to delve into the myths and mysteries of this beautiful county. Along with an impressive panelled stone frontage, mullion windows, old oak beams, this is a fine and historic building where you will take a step back in time as you enter the hotel, yet offering all the modern facilities you would expect. Bar snacks are available in The Pilgrim`s bar. The hotel also has a superb restaurant with an A la Carte menu with freshly prepared home made food. The Chalice Suite is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. It’s an excellent choice for weddings, holding functions for up to 90 . For Business Meetings they are able to cater for up to 50 delegates.
