Shave Farm is an early 19th centuary farmhouse set within beautiful countryside and just 2 minutes from the A303. 15 minutes from the M5 and Taunton and 30 minutes from the jurrasic coast of Lyme Regis and Charmouth. Making Shave Farm an ideal base or stopover when heading futher South. We are a working dairy farm and invite our guests to observe milkings and even help feed calves. Our three rooms are made up with crisp white cotton linen and large white fluffy towels, They have tea and coffee making facilities and their own TV. Guests have sole use of the large lounge with open fire and can relax in the mature gardens. Breakfast consists of a full English using only British meats ,local produce and our own eggs!.

All other rooms are fully en-suite and are equipped with colour TV, hair dryer, alarm clock radio, bathroom toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating. Ironing facilities and a trouser press are available. Free WiFi can also be provided. Guests spend a very restful night in the attractive bedrooms and awake to have a sumptuous English breakfast in the inglenook dining room. A menu led full English breakfast betweek 08.00am and 09.00am. On Sundays and Bank Holidays it is served at the later time of 08.30am - 09.30am. Vegetarian and Vegan alternatives are available as well as breakfast Specials. Guest are encouraged to use the pretty garden at the rear. It is South facing and fully enclosed by a high flint wall on one side and the west wing of the house on the other. It is very restful sitting by the pond, in the sun, listening to the water cascading down the waterfall. What could be better than sitting in the garden in the late afternoon or evening with a glass of wine (you supply the wine, we supply the garden, the glasses and the lighting). There is parking for up to four cars in an open area at the rear of the Guest House as well as a double garage which offers overnight security for cars and more vulnerable conveyances such as motor cycles and bicycles.

Seaborough Manor is located in the heart of the countryside between Beaminster and Crewkerne on the West Dorset/South Somerset borders. Far enough away from the beaten track to offer peace and quiet but within easy driving distance of many well known beauty spots, attractions and towns. The West Dorset Coast is just half an hours drive whilst in land there is a wealth of places to visit. Country pursuits such as golf, river or sea fishing and horse riding are also available in the area. There are also many places for walking and an abundance of country pubs and Restaurants for eating out. In addition guests are welcome to use our private swimming pool and tennis court at their leisure.

The George Inn is a beautuiful 15th century thatched pub set in the heart of picturesque Chardstock, right on the the Devon, Dorset and Somerset borders. It was originally a Church or Parish house where locals would gather after services to taste the beer brewed by two church nominated wardens.Evidence for the age of the building can be seen in the graffiti in the snug and lounge bar windows where the names and initials can be traced back through many generations of local families. the pub still maintains many original features such as old oak and linen fold panelling which is said to be one of the finest examples in the country. We have two bars and a restaurant serving traditional delicious English Foods and catering for all tastes and our Sunday Roasts should not be missed. Wines from France, Australia and South Africa are available to accompany your meal as well as traditional real ales. We have four lovely cottage style bedrooms situation in a barn conversion in the couryard to the rear of the pub. They are all en suite with bath and shower and following a restfull nights sleep a delicious Full English Breakfast is served in the bar.
