A traditional coastal inn at the heart of Dunwich, an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Suffolk coastline and countryside. Now a tiny, idyllic village with nature reserves, heath land and long, shingle beach, only the ruins of the Dunwich monastery remain to hint at the fate of this once thriving medieval port that was claimed by the sea during a storm. Real food, real ales and real fires are on offer, along with the warmth, character and atmosphere of a traditional village pub. Traditionally furnished rooms, some with views across the open marshes looking out to Southwold, and a large garden dotted with fruit trees including our 300 year old fig tree. Miles of beach are just 100 paces from the front door of The Ship Inn.

A traditional, family run, country pub selling Adnams ales and great food. Our accommodation is separate from the Inn and is located in a barn style building only built in October 2004. The rooms, all en-suite with a shower and bath, benefit from being very spacious and are modern with a country twist. We are situated in rural Suffolk on the doorstep of Minsmere bird reserve and a short distance from both Aldeburgh and Southwold. There are many cycle routes and great walks from Eastbridge, including one of the 20 Great Britsh walks as advertised in The Times18th April 2009. We are very well known for our music especially our Thursday Squit nights and traditional folk on the last Sunday in every month.

The Swan Hotel has occupied its present site since the 14th century. Nowadays the public rooms have the traditional character of an English country house, enhanced by fine furniture, carved 18th century doorframes and mantelpieces, prints, paintings and photographs connected with the history of Southwold. We are a family run and owned public house with 3 luxury letting rooms. Each room comes with bath and/or shower en suite facilities along with a TV/DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. We are approximately a 5 minute walk from the beach. We have a 50 cover restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and we have fresh fish delivered each day directly from the Harbour.

Quite simply a hidden gem tucked away in the glorious Suffolk countryside. This grade II listed inn possesses many wonderful features including a timber frame dating to 1580. The White Horse is ideally positioned just 5 minutes from the A12 and 15 minutes from the coast. RSPB Minsmere is 15 minutes away, whilst the small market towns of Framlingham, Halesworth and Saxmundham are closer. Shooting, fishing and golf are all close by whilst the area is favourable for walking. However you spend your day return to rest in one of our 7 comfortable rooms. Accredited 4 stars by Visit Britain, the rooms are suitably detached from the pub in their own self contained building, located in the adjacent gardens with plentiful parking. Most rooms have open countryside views offering peace and quiet for a good nights sleep. No stay away from home is complete without good food and drink. Guests enjoy an extensive breakfast menu all freshly cooked to order. Dinner can be popular so guests are advised to book their tables when making their room reservation. Cancellations - If cancellation is necessary with less than 48 hours in advance, you will be charged one nights accommodation rate per room booked. The 48 hour notice period starts at 2pm, 2 days before you are due to check in. The Hotel reserves the right to charge your nominated Credit / Debit Card, provided at the time of booking, for cancellations made in breach of the Hotels policy without any additional consent being required. In the unfortunate event that you cut your break short due to unforeseen circumstances, then management reserve the right to charge you for the remainder of your stay. The charge will be applied to your credit / debit card without prior consent being required.
