The Auberge is a superb family run hotel and restaurant in the centre of East Anglia. It is conveniently situated for visits to Cambridge, Newmarket, Norwich, Ipswich, the Norfolk Broads and other coastal towns. The restaurant has been an AA rosette award winner for the past 10 years, and has now been an AA 2 rosette winner for the last 4 years. The menu changes daily in order to make use of the freshest, local ingredients. We serve two courses for 21.95 and three courses for £24.95. Oysters and champagne are our speciality, as well as seafood platters (which requires 24 hours notice). The restaurant is closed Saturday lunches, and all day on Sundays and Mondays. Please book a table (if needed ) at the time of booking. Please Note... The Restaurant is closed from 1st January 2009 and will be open again on 8th January 2009. Originally converted as part of the TV programme “Homefront”, our B&B Barn near Banham in Norfolk has been lovingly improved over the past six years into a substantial family home. We are enclosed in an acre of grounds surrounded on three sides by open fields, so if you have a four legged friend to bring along. Friendly dogs are very welcome to join you. Dogs can be accommodated in the both the "Rose" and "Bluebell" rooms but not in the Suite. (Parque flooring!) All rooms are on the ground floor and benefit from their own private entrance and bathroom. (except from the 21st of March until the 2nd of April when the Bluebell room is being partially redecorated). We will be using the bedroom above during this time, which benefits from a roll top cast iron bath. Entrance to this is via the main entrance. We have a fully licensed Bar at the Barn. Breakfast is served in the barn’s impressive main hall. All our breakfast ingredients are all sourced from our local butcher and our eggs are free range. Traditional English or Continental breakfast is prepared to order. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements. Bluebell Barn is not suitable for children under the age of 10. (Solid york stone floors in the barn)

The Old Ram Coaching Inn is a listed Inn dating back to the 17th Century; documents reveal that it has been a coaching Inn for most of its life. The Inn has recently been sympathetically refurbished. Inside exposed brick work and the original beams can still be seen and there is a real log fire in the main bar. Lamb Cottage is an historic thatched Grade II listed former workers cottage with historical evidence which dates the property back as far as 1450. Its location is in the heart of the ancient town of Eye on the Suffolk / Norfolk border. Although an old property the interior has recently undergone a major refurbishment to a very high standard boasting all the latest conveniences including fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with flatscreen waterproof TV!, oak effect flooring, internet access and washing machine. There is one bedroom with double bed and a luxury double sofa bed downstairs. All linen, towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. At the rear of the property is a small peaceful cottage garden with dining table and garden bench. NB 2% charge applied for all credit cards. Maestro and Debit cards have no charge.
