The Auberge is a superb family run hotel and restaurant in the centre of East Anglia. It is conveniently situated for visits to Cambridge, Newmarket, Norwich, Ipswich, the Norfolk Broads and other coastal towns. The restaurant has been an AA rosette award winner for the past 10 years, and has now been an AA 2 rosette winner for the last 4 years. The menu changes daily in order to make use of the freshest, local ingredients. We serve two courses for 21.95 and three courses for £24.95. Oysters and champagne are our speciality, as well as seafood platters (which requires 24 hours notice). The restaurant is closed Saturday lunches, and all day on Sundays and Mondays. Please book a table (if needed ) at the time of booking. Please Note... The Restaurant is closed from 1st January 2009 and will be open again on 8th January 2009. The Grange is an attractive Tudor style country house hotel. We’re passionate about wine and have created a list which offers a selection of old favourites combined with some more unusual and quirky wines. The common theme is that we believe they are all well made wines offering good value for money. On the food side, the emphasis is on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever possible, we source it locally. We love Sunday lunch and offer a great roast – bring the family or meet up with friends and catch up on your week. We also have a large garden, perfect for those warm summer days – and a large heated, covered deck, perfect for al fresco dining, even on those typically British, not so warm days. what about the kids? Children are welcome all day (and all night!). We don’t offer a separate children’s menu but are happy to provide smaller portions from our main menu (where possible). Baby changing facilities, highchairs (and crayons!) and travel cots (please mention when you book) are available. An outdoor kids play area is on our to-do list in time for the summer.

A Grade II mansion suite built in the Jacobean style designed by William Burn and constructed between 1857 and 1862 to replace a former hall built in 1720 by James Nelthorpe whose daughter married James Hoste, the owner of Sandringham House. Hungercut Hall is a small privately run historic 16th century house with 3 bedrooms available to guests. It is the perfect retreat when working away from home. All 3 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and Freesat or Freeview TV, plus the little extras you would expect, and some you may not. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the property upon request. There is ample off-road parking available. It is a small establishment where meals other than the full English breakfast are not available. There is not a bar but The Highwayman pub/restaurant (which enjoys a high reputation for quality and value for money) is only a short drive away. The pretty village of Needham Market, which has many traditional pubs and restaurants, is also only a short drive.Hungercut Hall is not able to take bookings which include children under the age of 12.
