Harvestfest underway in Cornwall
18th Sep 2007Crealy Great Adventure Park in Cornwall is promoting Cornish food and drink as part of their Harvestfest celebration from September 1st to October 21st, a great place to visit while on bed and breakfast break in Cornwall.
To celebrate the food and drink produced in Cornwall visitors to Cornwall's Crealy each weekend in September will be treated to a free Cornish meal.
Great local fare such as traditional Cornish pasties and Cornish cream teas will be available, in addition to the usual menus.
David Wright, park director said, "Supporting our local farmers and food producers is essential, which is why we are so pleased to be able to promote local produce to our visitors over the next month.
"Cornish food should be celebrated we are lucky to have some of the countrys best food producers right here on our doorstep. We encourage our guests to buy local produce as it's best for the environment, best for Cornwall's economy and in my opinion best for taste!"
As well as the Harvest fest there will be an international scarecrow convention and kids will be encouraged to bring their very own scarecrow creations.
