Halloween fireworks at Camelot Theme Park
Because kids can't get enough of Halloween and theme parks, autumn is the perfect time to treat them to both at 'Halloween at Camelot Theme Park' in Chorley, Lancashire where visitors can ride the new 'Knightmare' ride.
On the weekend of October 27th and 28th, a fireworks show will commemorate the season while children can come in fancy dress, watch the popular jousting tournaments and take part in special competitions.
The 'Knightmare' ride reaches speeds of over 43 mph and heights of over 87 ft, which is sure to impress the daredevils, but rides like the 'Junior Dragon Coaster' will satisfy perhaps the younger kids in the group.
Families taking their youngsters on term-break can enjoy the theme park throughout the day and can either bring their own food or eat at the number of shops located at the park.
Hotels and bed and breakfasts are never far away in Lancashire, which is known for its family attractions. The Pines Hotel is a convenient choice for families travelling to Camelot Theme Park and includes a restaurant and golf park nearby for the adults.
