Oxford Lieder Festival delivers class

Classical music fans will be able to hear world renowned singers at the Oxford Lieder Festival in Oxfordshire throughout the month of October featuring this year's theme of Schubert, Spanish songs and settings of the poet Eichendorff.

Whether visitors are staying in the Oxfordshire area for just a day or for an extended period of time, weekly or full festival passes are available for visitors to attend sopranos and accompaniments from all over the world such as Canadian soprano Measha Bruegergossman and tenor Andrew Goodwin.

Long-time fans as well as youngsters can enjoy these events as the festival highlights young singers as well in a popular lunchtime series entitled "Lunch with Schubert" presented in conjunction with the Guildhall School of Music.
