Blackpool's bustling and vibrant tourism is getting even more popular as hotels are being bought to meet the demand for visitors to the seaside town.

The sale of the landmark Hacketts York House Hotel for a tidy sum of £2.5 million highlights the area's commitment to tourism and all things entertainment.

With more than 200 resort hotels on sale in September, tourists of all walks of life can be certain to find quality accommodation in the heart of the city that boasts every kind of entertainment from roller coasters to world-class shows.

Situated along the Queen Promenade, visitors can tour shops with views of the seafront. The traditional hotel is an affordable option for families and business travellers looking for quality service with access to an in-house restaurant and just a walk away from day and night-time attractions.

Tourists can go by foot or by tram to enjoy Blackpool's Golden Mile, which includes the famous Blackpool Illuminations and art works in the Great Promenade Show.
