Get your skates on at Eden Project
People planning on staying in one of Cornwall's many bed and breakfasts or hotels over the festive season should get their skates on and head over to the Eden Project's Christmas ice rink.
Set against the tourist attraction's world renowned bubble-shaped biomes, the ice rink offers guaranteed fun for all the family.
The huge rink is set around a giant crystal, with a snow machine and regular ice discos giving a truly unique yuletide atmosphere.
What is more, for those a little unsteady on their feet, trained instructors are on hand to give skating lessons every Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, those happiest watching from the sidelines can keep themselves warm and cosy with a selection of nourishing foods including sizzling sausages, hot soup and mouth-watering waffles.
The skating rink runs until January 6th - giving everyone taking a short break to Cornwall the opportunity to leave their accommodation for an entertaining day or evening out right through until the new year.
