Self-catering accommodation in Cornwall has been praised for its family-friendly features as travel experts predict "a new breed" of short break.

The Cove in Cornwall has been singled out for its dedication to providing everything that both children and their parents want from a holiday.

Situated above Lamorna Cove in the west of Cornwall, this luxury self-catering accommodation offers family activities including Easter egg hunts and painting as well as 'yoga in the yurt' this March.

Founder of website Baby Friendly Bolt Holes, Sian Williams, told the Times that similar boutique hotels, self-catering cottages and apartments were now starting to spring up across the UK "with cutting-edge style for parents and children alike".

"My prediction is that 'parent-Friendly' will replace 'child-friendly' as a mantra for family travel," she said.

"The boutique hotel generation is growing up and having children, and as such they are demanding more from family holidays than simply child-friendly facilities."
