Guests staying in Blackpool B&Bs later this year should book tickets for a performance from one of the UK's best-loved comedians.

Steve Coogan, who shot to fame with his radio DJ character Alan Patridge, is to return to the north-west seaside resort with two shows on November 26th and 27th.

Blackpool Opera House will host the comedian's two-show run, Steve Coogan's most recent in Blackpool since 1998.

Tickets, costing £30, are restricted to a maximum of six per person, so Radio Norwich fans should snap up their tickets to the show quickly.

The Blackpool Opera House continues its reputation for providing quality entertainment, with big name stand-up comedians such as Jimmy Carr (performing his Repeat Offender show in Blackpool in August) and Ricky Tomlinson booked for this year.

Other acts for this year include post-punk band The Wombats and TV's The Mighty Boosh as well as crooner David Essex and Jane MacDonald.
