People visiting Cornwall's self-catering holiday cottages in the next few months will find that spring is definitely in the air.

The Cornwall Spring Flower Show, taking place on April 5th and 6th will really make visitors to the county feel like spring has definitely sprung.

The two day show at Boconnoc House near Lostwithiel will feature horticultural stands and competitive classes that are sure to appeal to everyone from green-fingered gardeners to those who have never even picked up a trowel.

Floral displays, lectures, botanical art exhibition and plant sales will mix with live music and catering to offer a truly unique day out.

Boconnoc House has what has been described as "one of the most beautiful of all spring gardens" featuring camellias and azaleas dating back to their original planting in 1850.

Self-catering accommodation The Grooms House in Boconnoc, is a beautiful 18th century former stable yard sleeping up to six people.

Offering all mod-cons, the two-storey building features three bedrooms and three bathrooms and by prior arrangement also permits dogs.
