Le Scandal, New York's longest running burlesque show, is coming to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival making another great attraction for those staying at an Edinburgh B&B.

Billed as the 'rock star of New York's burlesque scene', Le Scandal brings the city's top variety performers together in a mix of neo-burlesque and vaudeville.

After making the journey across the Atlantic, the show will first be performed at the Brighton Fringe, before travelling up to Scotland.

Le Scandal is currently performed in New York at the Cutting Room which is owned by actor Chris Noth who has appears as 'Mr Big' in Sex and the City.

Burlesque became popular in the late 1800s, where bars such as the Moulin Rouge in France put on a variety of titillating performances.

While touching on the risque, Burlesque shows generally emphasis more on performance and variety acts rather than crude striptease.

Therefore, Le Scandal could prove fun for everyone to enjoy while staying in an Edinburgh B&B to enjoy Augusts Fringe Festival.
