Art loving guests staying at a Cornwall B&B will soon be able to enjoy a brand new exhibition by acclaimed Cornish artist Paul Bawden.

The new exhibition entitled Wobbly Circus will be put on show at Hayle and includes Bawden's trademark abstract screen-prints alongside paintings and earlier work.

Bawden trained at the Royal College of Art and won the Ken Tyler and Augustus Merton prizes and is an associate member of the Royal Society of Painters and Printmakers.

After relocating back to his home county, Bawden has been based at a studio at Foundry Farm which is close to Hayle.

He told the BBC that he realises that "not everyone can afford art in Cornwall" but he still wants to make his work accessible to "everyone and anyone".

"I started making prints for £100 and under, and they seem to be selling well. But its not about the money, I just want to get my prints out there," he added.

This exhibition of one of Cornwall's brightest new artists runs to the end of June and will no doubt prove a popular attraction with people staying at a Cornwall B&B.
