Edinburgh B&B: Jazz festival set for Edinburgh
As Edinburgh's International Jazz and Blues festival returns for 2008, music loving guests staying at an Edinburgh B&B can expect a fantastic programme of entertainment.
The festival runs from July 25th to August 3rd in venues all across the Scottish capital, including the Grassmarket, Queen's Hall and the Spiegeltent.
Now into its 30th year, the festival will feature celebrated jazz and blues artists from around the world in over 100 live performances.
One of the biggest surprises is former band mates of jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie visiting the festival to show off their considerable talents.
This year Australian group the Syncopators arrive in Edinburgh, alongside a tribute delivered by Martin Taylor to violinist Stephane Grappelli.
Equally, another tribute will be performed to the work of Chet Baker by Cathie Rae and trumpeter Colin Steele.
An incredible program of international jazz and blues will no doubt prove a major attraction to people staying at one of Edinburgh's many fantastic B&Bs.
