Blackpool B&B: Jimmy Carr comes to Blackpool

Comedy loving guests staying at a Blackpool B&B will soon be able to enjoy a weekend of performances by celebrated funny-man Jimmy Carr.

The stand-up and television star is due to play two shows on August 2nd and 3rd at the Opera House Theatre in the Winter Gardens as part of his Repeat Offender tour.

Londoner Carr has become a regular comedy fixture on both the stage and television screen ever since his breakthrough in 2003.

His Perrier Award nominated show Bare Faced Ambition showcased the intelligent, caustic wit that earned him a place in the hearts of comedy lovers.

Equally, Carr regularly appears on television to host his panel show, Eight Out of Ten Cats, and feature on other hit programmes.

Carr has just released his third DVD, Comedian, and also his first ever book, the Naked Jape, which was co-written with Lucy Greaves.

The chance to see the British Comedy Award winner do his stuff on the stage will surely prove too good to miss for guests staying at a Blackpool B&B.
