Blackpool B&B: Joseph proves a big hit in Blackpool

People staying at a Blackpool B&B have been enjoying a run of performances of celebrated musical Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's tuneful version of the biblical story runs until July 19th at Blackpool's Grand Theatre.

The show takes a brightly coloured and light hearted angle on the story of Joseph's troubled journey after being betrayed by his jealous brothers.

Chris Chalmers, who was among the finalists in the recent BBC talent show Any Dream Will Do, takes the lead role of Joseph.

He is joined by Tara Bethan who appeared in fellow BBC talent series I'd Do Anything and takes the role of the Narrator.

As quality family entertainment, the big budget show features cherished songs such as Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do.
