Blackpool B&B: New million pound cafe opens in Blackpool

A brand new £1 million cafe and bar has opened in Blackpool which will provide another great place to eat and drink while staying at a Blackpool B&B.

The Septembers Restaurant & Champagne Bar is based on the entire ground floor of a building on Queen Street.

Open seven days a week, the bistro-style eatery will serve visitors with light snacks and meals in the daytime and then offer a Spanish tapas service in the evening.

Local businessman David Moseley is leading the project and he told the Blackpool Gazette that he wanted to show the north-west that "private enterprise is still happening in the resort".

"Queen Street is a self contained, popular town centre oasis with a cafe bar culture and plenty of late night spots. Our new venture will enhance the options," he added.

With a capacity of around 130 people, it is hoped that guests staying at a Blackpool B&B will make the most of the range of food available or simply have a drink at the bar.
