The first ever Furness Fest of entertainment is set to get underway during July which will be great news for music loving guests staying at a Cumbria B&B.

Based at Sinkfall Farm on the Furness Peninsula, the debut Furness Fest is set to get underway on July 18th and run until July 20th.

Over 70 acts have already been confirmed to perform at the 40 acre site which boasts sea views and has capacity for 2,500 revellers.

The line-up mixes established performers with unsigned acts with a large proportion having a distinctly Cumbrian flavour.

Born in Barrow-in-Furness, Andy Turner, or Aim as he is better known, will bring his hugely successful hip hop to the Homegrown Dance Arena.

New local bands such as Atlas and Runt Hornet will join already successful acts such as the Holloways to perform at the event.

With amusements, exhibitions and children's facilities also on the site, there is likely to be something for everyone staying at a Cumbria B&B.
