Broadcaster Clive James has joined the upcoming Edinburgh festival of literature which will no doubt prove a treat for book loving guests staying at an Edinburgh B&B.

The Edinburgh International Book Festival runs from August 9th to 25th and features 800 authors from 45 countries around the world.

On August 21st, Mr James will talk about his new book titled Cultural Amnesia: Notes in the Margin of My Time.

Among the big names to attend this year include Booker prize winner Salman Rushdie, celebrated journalist Kate Aidie and politician John Prescott.

However, the star attraction is the return of Sir Sean Connery to Edinburgh to unveil his much anticipated autobiography titled Being a Scot.

Terry Pratchett, Tony Parsons and Young Bond author Charlie Higson will also attend the event alongside the Duchess of Devonshire.

Such a huge range of famous faces and fantastic literature will provide a major attraction for people staying at an Edinburgh B&B during August.
