Blackpool B&B: Punk invasion begins in Blackpool
Blackpool B&Bs are gearing up for a weekend invasion of punk rockers as the Rebellion Festival comes to the resort.
Thousands of punks from around the world are expected to attend the festival which is based at the Winter Gardens and various venues around Blackpool.
Four stages will host performances by over 200 bands to be enjoyed by varying generations of punk fans.
The Blackpool Gazette also reports that England under-21 football coach Stuart Pearce will also be attending the festival after first team manager Fabio Capello gave him the weekend off.
He will be joined by 5,000 other revellers in an event which began as the Holidays in the Sun Festival and had a brief sojourn to Morecombe before coming back to Blackpool.
Festival goers will also be able to watch television chef Lloyd Grossman who will wield the axe in a rejuvenated version of his former band, the Jet Bronx and the New Forbidden.
For fans of punk rock young and old, the Rebellion Festival will prove a real treat to enjoy while staying at a Blackpool B&B.
