Thousands of visitors flocked to the Meadows in Edinburgh last Sunday to experience a fantastic open air Fringe extravaganza.

Guests staying at an Edinburgh B&B were able to experience 150 acts, including bands, comics, dancers and street performers.

In excess of 100,000 people packed the Meadows and were given a taster selection of all the events that have been going on during the Fringe Festival.

The majority of visitors gravitated towards the comedy tent as 20 comics kept the laughs coming, but the Cabaret theatre also proved hugely popular.

Inside the kid's tent, younger visitors watched a Harry Potter parody called Potted Potter: The Unauthorised Harry Experience.

Jon Morgan, Fringe Director, told the Evening News that "Fringe Sunday is always a hugely enjoyable day. Every tent has been packed all day long, which shows how popular the event is".

This year for the first time ever, craft stalls were present at the event and offered people staying at an Edinburgh B&B a range of handicrafts for purchase.
