Edinburgh B&B: Stag and Hen parties opt for Edinburgh
The number of stag and hen parties choosing Edinburgh and its many fantastic B&Bs for their excursion has risen by a quarter in the past year, according to reports.
Possibly motivated by current financial conditions, more people are shunning foreign breaks and instead opting to make the most of Edinburgh's incredible bars, clubs and activities.
Attractions such as Bedlam paintballing have experienced significantly increased trade and the bars in the Scottish capital have also seen an upturn in stag and hen group coming to party.
Sinead Guerin, VisitScotland's regional director, told the Scotsman that it is "extremely encouraging" to see Edinburgh's attractions benefitting from a bigger domestic tourism market.
"Due to the economic climate, there may well be a greater number of people exploring their own country and partaking in activities as a cheaper alternative to flying abroad," she added.
With such an incredible range of attractions and entertainment, it is perhaps unsurprising that more stag and hen parties are opting to come to Scotland and stay at an Edinburgh B&B.
