Cornwall B&B: Alice in Wonderland comes to Cornwall
People staying at a Cornwall B&B can potentially catch a glimpse of some Hollywood stars as Alice in Wonderland begins filming in the county.
Tim Burton is adapting the big screen remake of Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp reportedly taking the role of the Mad Hatter.
The West Briton reports that Depp was unfortunately not with the team in Charlestown, but Burton was there to spend a few days working with Mia Wasikowska, who plays Alice.
Helena Bonham Carter, Burton's partner, was spotted with the couple's daughter Nell and she is also due to play the Queen of Hearts in the movie.
Charlestown harbour has been transformed for the production with actors, extras and crew working on a fleet of tall ships.
Filming is also due to go ahead in Antony House, the Barbican, Torpoint and Plymouth, which are all favourite places for people staying at a Devon and Cornwall B&B.
