Cornwall B&B: Fundraising bonanza goes ahead in the county
Guests staying at a Cornwall B&B will soon be able to get involved in a series of fundraising events that are due to go ahead across the county.
The Cornishman reports that fundraising events will run from September 20th to 25th with all proceeds going towards the Children's Hospice South West Precious Lives Appeal's £5 million target.
On September 20th, there will be a gigantic cream tea afternoon going ahead in Falmouth and Truro, followed by a harvest festival auction in the evening.
Onto September 21st and the Mount Ambrose Inn will host a sports quiz where visitors can pit their wits against the local football and cricket teams.
Finally, Penrose will be the venue for the fantastic Fire & Ice evening featuring Jeff Allen and Simon Osbourne giving a presentation on their kayaking adventures around Madagascar and Scandinavia.
Such a fantastic range of attractions and the chance to help an important Cornish charity will surely prove too good to miss for people staying at a Cornwall B&B.
