Animal loving guests staying at an Oxfordshire B&B will soon be able to enjoy a horse show in the county featuring competition for national prizes.

The Oxford County & Thame Show will go ahead on October 18th with past events having attracted in excess of 20,000 visitors.

People flock to see the best of breed animal competitions, featuring dogs, rabbits, cattle and sheep, alongside flower and vegetable shows.

Equally, there will also be a series of horse jumping events including some major prizes on offer for the competitors.

This year's qualifying stages for the Horse of the Year Show will be held at the event as riders compete for places at the main event in Birmingham in October.

Moreover, the riders will compete in the Mountain and the Moorland In Hand to secure a place at the London International Horse Show in December.

A well stocked food hall will be on site to give people staying at an Oxfordshire B&B a wide variety of tastes in between watching the competitions.
