The Blackpool Tower has long proved a major attraction for guests staying at one of the resort's B&Bs and now an artist has captured the view on a piece of toast.

Food artist Dermot Flynn was employed by Blackpool-based bakery Warburtons to capture the iconic Tower on toasted bread.

Mr Flynn used chocolate spread to paint an intricate picture of the Tower on the piece of toast, which will be used as part of a major advertising campaign for the brand.

The artist has also created toast-based images of many other treasured British landmarks for the television campaign.

Mr Flynn told the Blackpool Gazette that "it's been great to capture the best of Britain using slices of bread from an iconic British brand".

This unusual image of such a popular attraction for guests staying at a Blackpool B&B will surely prove a hit when it features in the television adverts.
