Blackpool B&B: Award winning chef to open restaurant in the Flyde

Food loving guests staying at a Blackpool B&B will soon be able to enjoy a fantastic culinary treat as an award-winning chef moves to the region.

Ched Warrick Dodds is to take the reigns at the The Sparling restaurant and pub which is due to open later this month in Lytham in the Flyde.

Mr Dodds has previously worked under the celebrated chef Heston Blumenthal and was also employed at Lancashire's award-winning Stanley House Hotel.

He told the Blackpool Gazette that "the Sparling brand is all about using the best local produce, cooked to perfection".

"We promise Lytham some great traditional British classics, showcasing everything the region has to offer in terms of great food."

"We're proud of our progress and delighted to have secured such a prestigious site," he explained.

Mr Dodds also explained that the "hard work has already" in order to give people staying at a Blackpool B&B a "great dining experience in time for Christmas".
