Cornwall B&B: Eddie Izzard at Hfc
Eddie Izzard is to warm up for his forthcoming West End marathon with an intimate performance at the Hall for Cornwall (Hfc) in Truro.
With the comedian's 'Stripped' show having won rave reviews at each stage of Izzard's 34-date tour of the United States, holidaymakers opting to enjoy a bed and breakfast break in Cornwall in November could end up seeing far more than the county's stunning coastline or its historic capital.
The groundbreaking comic will take to the stage at the Hfc for one night only on Tuesday November 11th, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday at a cost of 30 each.
After that, Izzard will leave the tranquillity of the Cornish cultural scene and play to sell-out audiences at London's Lyric Theatre for 23 nights in November and December.
As well as being an administrative and retail centre, the county capital of Truro also serves as an ideal base for those holidaymakers looking to enjoy a Cornwall B&B break, being home to the Royal Cornwall Museum and within easy reach of the celebrated beaches and prehistoric monuments such as the iconic Men-an-Tol.
