Devon B&B: Swimming pool planned for Holiday Park
People staying at a Devon B&B next summer could be able to enjoy a fantastic new swimming pool after exciting new plans were approved.
Bourne Leisure Ltd has compiled plans for an extension to the spa building at the Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, which will include a brand new swimming pool.
The plans have been fully supported by the local council, including councillor Sandy Sutton who has given her backing to the scheme.
Tony Collins, town manager, told the Exmouth Herlad: "Devon Cliffs Holiday Park is one of the town's largest businesses and as such, a significant employer."
"The park plays a major role within the local economy and there has been a strong improvement this year in the relationship between the town and Devon Cliffs.
"A business such as Devon Cliffs needs to constantly maintain a high level of investment, in order to refresh its offering and stay competitive," she explained. "A successful business brings success to the town and Devon Cliffs. I fully support this."
All indications point to guests staying at a Devon B&B having a fantastic new swimming attraction available for next summer.
