He will perform in an open air concert on December 31st in West Princes Street Gardens and is also due to appear at Glasgow's New Year's Eve festivities.

A spokesman for the concert told the Scotsman that "featuring a world class line-up and a spectacular view of the famous Edinburgh's Hogmanay midnight fireworks, the Concert in the Gardens is an event not to be missed".

People staying at an Edinburgh B&B who purchase tickets for the concert will also receive a pass for the fantastic Hogmanay street party.
