Edinburgh B&B: Royal Botanic Garden voted second best in UK
The Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh has been voted as the second best public garden in the UK.
Guests staying at an Edinburgh B&B have long enjoyed the attractions in the gardens, including the Chinese health area and the Scottish health garden.
According to research by TripAdvisor, the attraction has now been placed as the second best public garden in the UK behind Kew Gardens.
Edinburgh's 70 acre Royal Botanic Gardens was praised in the survey as a "spectacular displays of autumn colours".
One TripAdvisor member described the beautifully landscaped space as "a perfect outing for a sunny afternoon."
Luke Fredberg, TripAdvisor director of communications in Europe, commented: "Britain is fortunate in having such a rich heritage of public gardens".
"The volume and range of reviews and opinions posted on TripAdvisor from around the world testify to their popularity as a visitor attraction," he added.
Edinburgh's top natural attraction will surely continue to prove a great place for people to visit while staying at a B&B in the city.
