Blackpool B&B: Anniversary celebration for orchestra
Music-loving guests staying at a Blackpool B&B in January will be able to watch an anniversary concert by a leading orchestral group.
At the Blackpool Grand Theatre on January 25th, the Pasadena Roof Orchestra will celebrate its 40th anniversary of performing great music.
The band will put some swing and hot dance music into the New Year as they mark their own milestone having started performing in 1969.
Playing all year round at venues throughout the world, the Pasadena Roof Orchestra features 11 jazz musicians led by vocalist Duncan Galloway.
The band name derives from the song Home in Pasadena by the Temperance Seven and the group perform original versions of arrangement from the 1920s and 30s.
Such a fantastic anniversary performance by this celebrated group will surely prove too good to miss among people staying at a Blackpool B&B.
