Devon B&B: Visitors to change clothes with the stars
Fashion-loving guests staying at a Devon B&B will soon be able to experience a new celebrity clothing swap event in aid of charity.
The dress swap event enables visitors to swap unwanted yet good quality items and will go ahead at the Pollyfield Centre at East-the-Water on November 23rd.
Celebrities such as Fern Britten and Loraine Kelly have already donated dresses for the show which is hoped to raise £1,000 for the breast cancer unit at North Devon District Hospital.
Organiser Donna Patterson explained to the North Devon Gazette how she wrote to the stars of breakfast television to ask for their support.
"The people in charge of their wardrobes sent the dresses the next day - and even enclosed signed photographs as a proof of their authenticity."
"It's great to have their support and the dresses will be among hundreds of others available on the night," she added.
The chance to secure a touch of celebrity glamour and also support a good cause will no doubt prove too good to miss among people staying at a Devon B&B.
